Delrin shift knob for DCT?

I don't want to be a 6MT poser, but instead of spending $200 on a DCT knob replacement (it's worn pretty bad), I thought getting an $80 delrin knob would be interesting. Has anyone done this before?

Wouldn't you guys like to know. Don't let them in on the DCT secrets Evan. They will have to buy one to find out.
