I vote straight pipe. Plus your exhaust is black, so no problems with soot.

Having said that, I just ordered 2 extra resonators in preparation for Eisenmann Race install. Fingers crossed this is my last exhaust setup!

I'm trying to get a guy from Charlotte with IPE set up to go to the meet. I love the Kressieg sound and hear IPE is similar. Maybe a nice used one will come up for sale in the next few months.

Full catless Eis Race is going to be so loud lol. Looking forward to hearing it in person.

Your install and overall impressions are spot on. This is a great exhaust for the money. Hard to go wrong with this one.

I just put mine on and its awesome as well. I have to get the tips adjusted though at a welding shop. Sits a little off and sticks out a bit too my liking.

But sound wise, its fucking awesome. I can hold off on the adjustments for a bit.

You should be able to center the tips just fine with a little work.
It's a pick exhaust to line up, but it can be done. The tips are known to be on the shorter side so if they are sticking out to much, you might not have the connecting pipes pushed in enough. It's very easy to correct and I'm positive you can do it at home without even using a lift

Good luck!

From what I read you just cut it, it doesnt effect performance at all, just acts as support for the crash beam from what I've gathered.

I have been peaking around for an exhaust used local. But 550 bucks for a new exhaust. Just trying to figure out if I want the titanium tips or just polished. What does everyone here think? I am leaning towards polished.

Megan is backordered on this exhaust for 2+ months according to erzperformance, so I went with their CNT race system for $499 shipped. Looks amazing and reviews are just as good

I will call them tomorrow. At worst I just have to call Visa. You are also right about the nation wide back order. It is on ebay for 620. It costs 500-540 from retailers + 55ish for shipping. So, 620 is not unreasonable. I am making a few offers on ebay to see if I can get it for a little cheaper.

There seem to be three varieties.

The original polished one, the same exhaust with the "burnt" tips, then the new one which has the tips "burnt" and rolled. I am most interesting in seeing pics of the last one, because otherwise I prefer the polished version ($50 cheaper, too), but in some pictures the walls seem too flimsy.

I bought the polished. Not because it is 50 cheaper. I just think it looks more classy. The blue tips scream ricer to me. I like a subdued look. I am not looking for attention. Girls just look at it as another 3 series. Few know what a M3 is which is fine by me.
