Tire Mounting

Need a very good shop near the Woodlands or north Houston to mount tires on my Volks. I am very paranoid about taking these wheels to just anyone, any references?

No prob.. MW should be able to take care of you! I toasted my weights off at the track so I'll be taking my HRE's over there again sometime this week. This time I'll put some foil tape on them

So I assume that you're in the woodlands? What do you drive? I'm right in the center of the woodlands but I don't see many M3's.

I bought a 2010 M3 in Red a month ago. I live off of Rayford. Just picked up a set of Volk 19" TE37SL and need 2 tires mounted (Long Story). I will also use Motorwerkes to install my lowering springs then perform an alignment with the new wheels and springs. Hopefully they will be on in a couple weeks, just waiting on the last 2 wheels to come in. Other than that I am keeping the car clean visually, just changed the gills to red and replaced all the other pieces to black. Then on to performance...

I would like to hear your Akra Exhaust though and take a look at those seats.

My exhaust is a little louder than it would be on your car due to the supercharger but I'd be happy to meet up let you listen to it.

What are your performance plans for the car?

Well I have burned through my Xmas budget already, ha, but in the Spring I will probably put on an X-pipe and a Pulley. Then I will assess where I want to go next. I don't intend to race, the car already has a lot of power stock, but I am sure I will get used to it

Yeah I was gonna do just xpipe too... but honestly the Akra Evo with the ESS tune is the best decision I've made as far as car mods go. It was a bit much but sounds and drives so good. I dont have an SC so I maybe could meet with you and Jeremy and convince you otherwise..... although I dont think Jeremy needs any help convincing people to mod up. hahaha. As far as the pulley goes.. it gives you as much gains at an MS Stage 2 Intake. BUT! the intake makes the engine sound INCREDIBLE! ( IMO and only under decent throttle. ) So you may want to consider that.

Honestly, I am scared to meet up with anyone with more mods, the upgrade bug is contagious and very expense for this car. But I have heard nothing but good things about the Akra Exhaust, so I might save for it.

I had the Akrapovic Evolution and ESS Akra specific tune for a couple of months before I went with the blower. The smoothness, power, sound and responsiveness of the combo enhanced the driving experience so much that I wasn't sure how I even liked the car without it. Just sayin..

Fortunately you can buy the Evo in stages so that could make it easier but I'd suggest doing it all at once is possible.

I've got plans this weekend but maybe next weekend we can all meet up and get you hooked on modding.. and tracking..
