Cayuga Drag Strip Tonight!!

I know its short notice but a few of us are heading down to Cayuga tonight for Test & Tune ($20 bucks to race $10 bucks to watch). We are meeting at Timmies on 403 and dundas same place we had our meet last night around 6-6:15pm. So if anybody is interested you are more than welcome to join us.

Sorry I couldn't make it last night. Got tied up at work till 7pm

but only because I am off all next week golfing

Still waiting for some times and pics from your runs. I am guessing it was a good night with the cooler air?

It was a pretty good night. 5 of us drove up, 3 M3s, 1 M5 and an XJR.

We did about 4-5 runs each. And if I remember correctly our best times were as follows:

Ado - 13.4

GSR - 13.5

Me - 13.8

M5 - I don't remember, but around 13.8. GSR can confirm this.

XJR - 14.0

I don't think anyone had a camera to take any pics though. This was my first time at the strip, and it was quite addictive, lol.

what where your 60 ft times?

The best I did was 2.404. But this is my first standard car, and I've never launched before, so my start sucks.

2000gsr did 2.146 on the first run with me. Not sure about the others.

The car was hooking up nicely on the first couple of runs, after that the track got slick, I had to turn traction control on and as I was shifting the rear end still felt like it was sliding out.

yeah same as me went to track this weekend as well, my best 60 ft time was 2.318.

So just for comparison what was your 1/4 trap speed.

The best I got was 106.24 MPH on my second run.

st. thomas dragway open all weekend, friday from 0600pm till 1000pm is the best i think.
