Street racing was part of my youth and that was a long time agoThese days you end up in jail for that stuff! But I do miss those days as we sure had a lot of fun!

No, you can't!

I hope it is not your old age? You better get your eyes tested before the race!

You will see me in your mirror, as I am about to lap you.

Don't forget to also look forward for the blue flag....and I am not talking about the Viagara blue....the slow traffic move off the racing line blue flag.

WTF!We are drag racing, but confusion has always interfered with your ability to understand a normal thought process.

WOW Dunky! That is a great picture of you! WOW! Was it done in a studio or at home? I knew you had the beard, but I didn't know you had such long hair.....and those tattoos!! WOW, you are hardcore!! Were they taken as promotional shots when you WERE a race car driver?

You know, I thought I could compete with you in drag, but based on your studio shots above, I concede victory to you!

Glad to see this thread has been revived - can't wait to see the race

I was beginning to worry the IS-F was going to be a no show!

Participants from a recent Lexus IS-F event confirmed that the harder, lightweight IS-F Evolution will make its debut in the summer of 2010 with prices starting around $250,000.

Sources say that the IS-F has gone through a serious weight-reduction program with extensive use of carbon-fiber. Total weight has been reduced by 308 pounds for a total of 3,410 pounds. The Lexus IS-F Evolution will also feature a 417-hp V8, carbon brakes, carbon interior and an upgraded aggressive front and rear.

The Lexus IS-F Evolution will see a limited production of just 500 units most of which will be sold in Japan. No word on how many units will be allocated for the international markets

Is that a joke? a $250 000 LEXUS? WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION?

That is by far the most ridiculous thing I have read in 2009 thus far.

I wonder, are all 4 tailpipes in a $250,000 Lexus IS-F functional?

All four tail pipes are functional now.....

Seriously...is that the only thing you guys can bag on?

Not very creative...

But yes, I would not pay $250K for this car either...I can find lots of better places for my money.

I guess the Audi R8, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Bugatti Veyron are also useless cars for such a high price? They don't have a "Functional" (as you call it) exhaust either??

No one said useless, I just asked if the $250,000 Lexus had functional exhaust tips.
