19" MHT Newports PICTURES
Just got my wheels in from California and put on, 19x10.5 with 285x35x19 Nitto INVO on rear and 19x8.5 with 245x40x19 on front; I posted before about the weight issue vs. my 18's...8.8 lbs per wheel on rear and 7.2 lbs per wheel on front, so somewhere around 32 lbs heavier; maybe Im wrong but I think that the the extra rubber hooking up SOOO much better has to make up for the added weight, there is no doubt in my mind that you guys running the lighter wheels with 11-12 inches wide of rubber hittin the ground are loving the hook from the hole...here are some pictures, don't be too harsh

Sorry man, but I dont dig it. Maybe more suitable on less of a sportscar and more of a pimp car like a benz or something else large, if you know what I mean.

Bling Bling Baby
Now that's how you put the bling bling in the M3 I think you should have went 20's with a low profile tire. I think you got to much meat on your tires for those wheels IMO. But if that's how you roll..... then roll with it player

You do realize that the rule of thumb is that 1lb of rotational mass is equivalent to 4lbs of non-rotating mass? So your 32lbs of added weight from the wheels is effectively adding 128lbs to the car.
I guarantee those wheels are making your car slower in the 1/4 mile. |

Sorry to rain on your (OP) parade but I will have to agree with those that are saying ugly, not feeling it, bling bling and SUV-ish. But as I'm sure you know, if you like em screw those who don't!

Well, I thought I would get alot of these type of responses but I thought I would post my car on here anyway; I guess chrome is now considered to be a sin, I guess I'm just used to putting aftermarket wheels on Chevy's, etc, the dark "dirty" lookin wheels just weren't something I found real appealing, I guess I'm just old school, but the thing is that I'm just 21 so you would think that I'd be influenced by the majority of M3 owners on this board...welp, all and all the wheels definitely turn 2x the heads around town, but I guess that I should stay away from the bimmer meets anyhow though right
Someone might throw up on my car or somethin along those lines like they have already "" I asked for opinions so I got them...at the end of the day everyone on here is a M3 enthusiast and each of your cars set themselves apart from the next, so now you can just refer to Zervos4 as bling-bling, I should change my post name to that or somethin

Wheels
Asthetically I think they look OK. Not sure what I will be getting in the future, and I am sure some will not like them. The important thing here is that you individualized your M3 to your likings.
Oh yeah seems to be a trend if its shiney people want it dark, if its dark people want it shiney, who knows do what looks good to you! |

Who cares what the wheels look like, it's the fact that they weigh so damn much is what's disturbing. The overall performance of the car will suffer, including handling, braking and acceleration.
But hey, if you like the look enough to give up some performance then that's fine. Just remember the old rule when it comes to wheels/rotors that 1lb = 4lbs. |
