E92 exhaust: Meisterschaft vs. Eisenmann
I am in need of a new exhaust, I've been stock for a while now and decided that I need to upgrade. From reading old forums I've narrowed my choices down to the eisenmann and meisterschaft gt.
I'm looking for: 1 minimal drone 2 won't piss off my neighbors 3 exotic sounding 4 bolt on (don't wanna cut up the original exhaust) Any suggestions/input will help. Thanks! |

First of all, sound is pretty personal.
I myself am an Eisenmann fan, had 3 Eisenmann exhausts on different BMW's, some close ones has the sport exhausts on different Porsches (V8, 6 cilinder) and I have one on the current M3 (Eisenmann Race). The sport version is the MPE, which gives a nice sound to it but too mild imho. The race sounds nice, deep low and screaming @ higher rpm, as an Eisenmann always does. Meisterschaft is good too but personally I love the Eisenmann. Eisenmann makes OEM exhausts for manufacturers like Merc AMG, Porsche and BMW, think that says something. As far as I know it's pretty much bolt on (rear end). The Race version does drone a bit @ 2k rpm and 3k rpm, but again, it's personal, it's not like it's annoying me much. The sport version barely does. |

Eisenmann for certain... I have the sport and it sounds exotic, but only when you push it... Otherwise its fairly quiet with no drone... Its just enough to get attention but not obnoxious while cruising... WOT sound is truly unique and unlike any other...

I have MeisterSchaft GT2 and its loud. And drones around 3k. For example on the highway 70mph is 2x the drone as 80mph. Bummer. Lol
Full throttle is insane |

You should really try to sit in one before buying. I made the mistake on two occasions of buying the wrong exhaust. I ended up with a corsa on my E90 if that helps. Sounds very nice.

I have a V1 MPE with 7500 miles on it, no cracks, no drone for $2000.00 plus shipping.
