Andrew, Auto stop/start reverse coding?

You can just leave your aircon/heater on. The engine wont stop if you leave them on lol
Instead of having to turn it off every time I start the car, I'd rather just have to turn it ON for the 1 time i'm ever likely to use it.

Depends I think. If set cabin temp. has been reached it will operate as usual.

Great news,
Yesterday my dealer here in Perth coded the auto stop/start to be default off.
So it is now always off, and the button turns it on.
No more unexpected conk-outs
Even better: Price was...free

Had this done at 2000km service by Adelaide BMW. Once disabled have never touched the button again. Useless feature.
