Had first weapons training last night with wife, didn't burst into flames. No guns got up and shot at me on their own.

Its finally gotten cold. Winter was late arriving and our first storm is supposed to hit Saturday. I love the snow, it keeps everyone off the roads here so I go out and play. I have a buddy who is notorious for ripping up and down the turnpike with his snowmobile! Going out with her is better then sitting home alone! Whats her stats and how did you meet her?

It's finally winter. Pretty cold lately, been in the teens most mornings. Some lake effect snow most days, but not much accumulation. Just enough to keep roads coated and slick.

Nah, that's not bad. Just an experience.

Yeah wasn't there a big ass pile up or something on I94..., this week or was it last week? 60 some cars?

We're getting a bit of what's coming down from the north tomorrow and Saturday. Which will be nice, stay home again and go hoon around while everyone hides in their house.

Her stats are not the typical stats I go for.

Very positive. I found it less scary than I anticipated but also harder to do. I had confidence in my instructor who was very good so that helped and he was owner of range.

Yeah there was a couple days ago. Same stretch of 94 that had the huge crash last year.

MSHP is already pretty lax and people drive fast, but that section of 94 is like the autobahn. Never patrolled and people know it. It's also the perfect distance from the lake to get dumped on with snow, so you can't see and it piles up fast. Add even a little traffic and people cut their following distances in half. Perfect combination for what keeps happening.

That's why I'm caught up on staying in NC or not. Everything is affordable, car insurance isn't jacked up, weather is nicer, roads are nicer, beach babes, VIR...., but everyone is not here which sucks.

Plus the State goes into a Shutdown mode, grocery stores have long lines and empty shelves within a few hours just hearing about possible snow and free holidays from work

Seriously, I was driving through it no problem, and everyone is in full on panic mode. I don't drive out there not because of me, but because of them. It's a damn circus.

It's nice at night when the roads are 100% empty though.
