New Pedals installed

I wanted to share some pictures of my new pedals. Thought some of you might be interested in seeing what they look like. You can get them off eBay.

So did I (they should ship next week, hopefully). But yours are not bad at all. I'd just worry about those 'M' emblems; that's why I got mine engraved.

Hey man, did you remove the gas pedal assembly for easier drilling? I want to remove it to grind the screws behind the pedal flush (they're nylock) to make sure they don't interfere with WOT. Don't want to screw anything up. Maybe BMWMD can help.

And one more question: Did you remove the stock dead pedal, or just drilled on top of it? Thanks man.

No rubber on the pedals though, I wonder how they are in the wet?

Looks like there are four screws that hold the dead pedal on.

I believe the question is was the M dead pedal removed or was the new dead pedal just installed over the top of the existing one?

You will need to remove the gas pedal assembly. There are not many places to install the bolts/washers on the gas pedal, because of the electronics and just the way the pedal is designed. You will see what I mean when you remove it. I went to hardware store and picked up SS flathead bolts and SS nylon washers (my pedals came with black bolts and standard washers).

The dead pedal was removed completely.

Correct. I picked up four SS flathead screws from the hardware store. There is a thick piece of formed plastic behind the carpet that they dig into.
