Tire shop recommendation for mounting/dismounting
I am buying a set of wheels and looking for a shop to dismount/mount tires on the "new" set of wheels.
I went to les schwab and they quoted me ~$300 to dismount tires from old wheel and then mount them on "new" wheels. Are they kidding me? Anyone know a good cheaper tire shop that I can go to? |

Where are you guys going??? I went to discount tire and asked them to be careful with the wheels. Manager did them and had lubricant for everything. Cost me $7.50 to dismount and mount each tire...

I purchased new tires for my fronts and while they were at it, I had them remove and put on new tires I purchased myself for the rear. I have the invoice and it was only 7.50 for each wheel for dismount and mount, they also installed tpms for free. But then again I talked to the manager to do everything and he knows my buddy. So who knows? I thought that price was normal. But haven't had any issues with them. So far...
