$850?!?!? Seems a bit much for just that small bit of CF tubing that utilizes all of the stock ducting and filter housing. I would like to read more about it. Looks clean though.

I could trade up to a 2008 M6, 2007 911 Turbo (NOT that I would but an option nonetheless ), 2008 Audi R8 etc. for that amount! thats around $30K!CDN. But the intake mod seems interesting... IMO after doing all the mods including the ECU, together the car would feel much faster and responsive. |

Dinan products are stupidly overpriced and provide minimal power gains. Your just paying for the name. How are they getting away with this? The sad thing is that there dumb people out there with more money then brains.
They are getting so rich on the stupidity of people with too much money. How I envy them. |

In all the places I've look at, trade up for 07 997TT 30K, that's not likely. Perhaps 60K CDN, and perhaps 35KUSD from the south. But if you know a link please let me know. I have been looking and feeling the market since last year. Thank u! _

Have to agree with you and Gearhead - Had an opportunity to go to a small dealer event that Steve Dinan was hosting. Can't say I have met anyone as knowledgeable or enthusiatic about BMW's and thier performance that is not on the BMW payroll. Alot of R&D goes into their products and often the reason they are not first to market. Only a few other vendors have this sort of commitment (and I have thier stuff). Its nice to have a lot of choice! |

I made an educated decision not go with Dinan and to work with a local tuner for software and a few other mods. In the end, I will probably will have something Dinan in my car. I am a big boy and will deal with warranty issues if need be. |

I fully agree that if you don't mind the "hassle" of warrranty issues, keeping your options open is a real good idea. I know we have some real good local tuner shop and my old E46 had lots of non-Dinan stuff added through Tunerworks, etc after the warranty expired. Just for me personally, I don't like the issues that can arise with BMW with aftermarket mods. I've already had a comment put to me by them saying you've had lots of stuff done so we'll need to see if it's covered. Once I reminded them THEY did the work and it was Dinan not another word was said. It will probably be Reg at RCTS doing the work now though....
