Dallas Service Advisor Recommendations

I just found out today that Michael Fraser @ BMW of Dallas has moved to San Diego. Very bummed about this, as he was the best SA I've worked with.

Wondering if anyone around DFW can chime in and recommend another local service advisor.

If you've got time, please share reasons for your recommendation. Much appreciated!

Rick Thiebaud. BMW of Dallas.

Fraser was my guy also, but Rick has most of Fraser's clients now. The same team of Techs.

Thanks. Rick is whom I was referred to after trying to set something up with Michael.

Has you done any services or had warranty claims with him yet?

I just got new rear brakes on my F80 under warranty. Went in for Rear brake Judder.

Had a similar issue on the Front brakes 800 miles prior. Car has 5700 miles total.

MY F80 has DP's and JB4. No issues.

Easy as pie experience as usual. Only negative is BMW of Dallas got rid of their interesting loaners so most are 320i's.

I just had a great experience with Rick Thiebaud BMW of Dallas. I had some warranty work done and was thoroughly impressed with Rick.

I gave him a call a few weeks back to inquire about a service. Left a VM and never heard back.

Hoping he didn't intentionally ignore the inquiry. Will have to give him one more shot based on feedback here. Glad you had a good experience!

Just a quick update on my experience. While Rick is a nice guy and took care of everything I needed the communication as well as follow up can be slow. He's not good about returning calls or emails but if you get in contact with him he addresses what is needed.

Nicole Ellender at Classic in Plano is great. She's extremely responsive, and she has a 1M with an M2 on order.

For most other work, I travel all the way to Ft. Worth to Texas Track Works - ask for Forrest. They've been able to diagnose issues that the dealer and other reputable shops haven't. They've saved me tons and are very affordable. I totally trust these guys.

called BMW of Dallas. cars due for its 45K service.

apparently rick thiebaud doesn't work there anymore. Anyone know the direct line to Michael fik or an easier way to get in touch with him?? he comes highly recommended too. called their main line and left a message for him. awaiting a call back.

classic BMW is closer to where I am but have not had a good experience there. the 2 SAs that I have worked with in the past appeared pretty clueless and they almost did an oil change (out of pocket since it was low mileage is what they called since it was not due yet when they read the fob - which I didn't mind) with one of their LL-1 oils instead of the new shell 10W60. Had to ask them to show me the bottle of whats going in when they swapped it after I pointed out the incorrect weight. plus I have had another bad experience which is in another thread on here.
