Evolve E90 E92 E93 M3 Aluminium Paddle Shifters

With the success of our F Series DCT Paddles it was only right that we made some for the E9X M3 as it is still a very popular platform for us.

I always wanted to create some OEM + that was in line with the design of the current interior so when we bought our current Japan Red E92 M3 the time was right!

Here is what we have come up with.

Titanium Anodised Finish

Black Anodised Finish

Comparison

Closer look, installation instructions and installed view video.

Available from us and our friends at IND.

I received my set (in titanium finish) in the mail a couple of days ago. I have to say the quality is as good as it gets - well done to EVOLVE! Installation is my weekend project.

Yeah... I don't buy parts with the manufacturers logo on them right in my face unless the manufacturer takes a hit on the price for me advertising their product.

If these were truly OEM+ they would have no branding on them.

But other than that they look decent. I'll stick with my Autotecknik carbon paddles with no logo.

No plans for carbon at the moment. We haven't received many requests for them.

Paddles installed along with a new alcantara M Performance wheel. What an upgrade these are! As for the paddles, they are certainly premium in look and most importantly feel & finish. My touch was the '+' and '-' filled in with gloss red enamel before fitting.

Black option installed. Sorry for the delay the first batch had sold out on pre order before we could get marketing pictures.

I finally got around to installing the Evolve black DCT paddles that I ordered a couple months ago. Fit and finish of the paddles is top notch. When I first saw photos of them I wasnt sure I really liked the shape of them. Now that they are installed I am very happy I bought them! I think they add an additional flare to the interior of our cars. As usual Evolve has come thru with another great item for the E9x platform.

How close are the paddles to the steering wheel?

I currently have the Pedal Haus paddle shifters and I feel it's too close to the steering wheel. It's hard to get a good grip on the wheel. Thanks.

The paddles are approx. 5/8” away from the steering wheel. If I wrap my fingers all the way around the steering wheel, my knuckles will touch the paddles. However, I don’t drive that way. I hold onto the steering wheel with a couple fingers stretched out and loosely rest on the paddles, if that makes any sense. For me it’s a very natural way to hold the wheel and use the paddles. I never once thought the paddles were placed too close or too far away to comfortably use them while still holding onto the steering wheel. I find the position of the Evolve paddles very comfortable and neutral.

I used to have the carbon Autotecknic paddles, while those worked fine, I’m finding I now prefer the Evolve paddles.

I am a little late to your request nonetheless I will say I switched out from the Pedal Haus paddles to the Evolve. I find them more comfortable to use and seem to have a little bit more room than the PH versions. I hope they work out for you, I’m certainly happy I made the switch.

Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear that you find this more comfortable than the Pedal Haus.
