Anyone with MPE + secondary cat delete x-pipe?

I am in search for x-pipe only deletes secondary cat because I don't want to go through CEL tune. (yet?)
I currently run with MPE which sounds good after 4k rpm, but I would like to hear some more v8 roaring in between 2-3k rpm.
The only x-pipe that offers to meet with my criteria that I found was Challenge street x-pipe. I searched for threads and youtube videos, but I haven't found a clear answer about how good the sound is and drone issue.

Is there any other options?
I would like to hear some inputs of those combo.
Thanks!

I modded my primary cats with 200 cell hfc’s and MPE. I’d say it’s prob 20% louder than oem cats, no cel or drone. It gave me the extra sound I was looking for.

So basically, you buy HFC, cut OEM x-pipe primary portion and weld with HFC?
Which HFC did you go with?
Thanks for your input!

Did it get raspy after the mod?

seriously, on an 8k+ NA engine you shouldn't be driving around at 2k looking for more!
Work the 5k powerband where the MPE shines ..brraaapppp!

I'd say the complete opposite, the MPE already sounds at its best between 3-4K RPM where you can hear its natural resonance. Above 5k its all induction noise. If you want more exhaust than intake above 5K whatever exhaust setup you choose has to be very loud.

each to their own but at least it's a "combined" natural sound and it's not pumped through the speakers like the new M3/4.
Around 3500 my MPE actually moans (or sounds like a boat that's cavitating in a turn) it's kind of an odd sound

Can you post an audio clip? That’s the route I would like to go and I’m considering the HFC Fabspeed x-pipe.

I went from MPE to MPE + test pipes and ultimately MPE + full catless xpipe (w/ resonators). Couldn’t be happier.

For those who went catless with resonators would you recommend 2 or 4 resonators? I want loud but not too much drone/rasp. I have an IPE rear section with test pipes now

I can't cruise at 3800rpm. Xpipe might cost less than gas

I guess I need to take out secondary cat first to see if that meets with my taste first. If not, I'll go with your route. Thanks!

I went with Remus H-pipe paired up with my MPE.
I was worried about raspy sound as many people mentioned, but it came out really good! It opens up after 2800rpm and gets really loud (we all have different definition how to describe loud). I went to track a few weeks back and yes it sounded amazing.

Isn't that H-pipe straight through? If so, what made you choose the Remus?

Sorry for the questions, just trying to see what other people are thinking about that I might be...not thinking about. :-)
