not really. i bought 3 ED cars in the past and I never went to Germany to pick it up. I did power of Attorney and gave it to my parents to pick it up. Since they are retired, they have more time than I do. I paid for their vacation and they picked up the car.

For me, as an avid auto/BMW enthusiast & wheel2wheel racing driver... There is NO better place to take delivery of a brand new M car, go experience europe & take that bad boy straight to the Nürburgring !! Hard work pays off & this is one of the joys to experience

Waiting 6 weeks, well, that's what we have the other cars in the stable for

It is hard to put into words just how incredible it is to drive on the Autobahn(s). I don't mean speed. I mean just how smooth the road is. There is nothing like that I've experienced in North America. Not even a brand new Interstate in the US has the kind of grip, pavement, and smoothness that the Autobahns do.
