Maxton Design Front Lip

I just got this front lip in and I thought I'd share. I've been following a guy from the U.K. on Instagram that was running it and liked the styling. ECS started carrying the company and the lip was $85 when I ordered it however I think they since adjusted their pricing. Took like 3-4 months to get here but I was fore warned. It's made of ABS and has a gloss black finish. I have test fitted and it's perfect but it's not like the design is a miracle of modern manufacturing. I'm putting a supercharger on my car right now but should have pictures on the car soon.

I like it! I almost looks like it should be used as an attachment to a GTS lip or similar to act as the splitter element. How far does it stick out from the front if you had to guess?

That's pretty cool looking, it reminds me of the Garbino front lip made in Japan.

for the price and considering how it is is to destroy the fiberglass/"CF" counterparts i think this is a great solution. ABS should last a while - is it hollow or thick ABS?

I saw this over the weekend and ordered the gloss black from ECS on Monday for $118. Just three days later it's discounted further to $70 and their support says they can't price match! Frustrating.

Mine should arrive next Monday so I'll see if I can put it on early next week and add some more pictures.

As far as the build, it feels solid though I wouldn't call it thick ABS. Maybe about 3mm thick? There were a few light scuffs on mine, visible because of the gloss finish. Nothing really noticeable once I cleaned it up and held it in place to check fit.

Regarding fit, it's pretty good. The sides line up well, but the center raises up a little on mine. Could be the installation but after aligning the sides, this was the only way to avoid a big gap in the middle between the lip and bumper. Not really distracting so I'm fine with it.

Gloss black better matches my kidneys and side markers, but might be harder to find matching parts. Maxton also makes gloss black side skirts but I'm not sure where to find a nice gloss black diffuser.

I have this lip too, I have scrapped it many times and it holds up SO well. Can't even tell that it has been hit at all. I got mine for 270$ from them directly but it is money well spent. Very happy with the look and durability. Here is a link to my car, more pictures with the lip.

I wonder if you can ombine this with OEM splitters or replica of those to have a look like the F80/F82's side splitters and lip...

they have a version that integrates the splitters to the lip. but it won't give you the look that you're thinking of, the lip has "fangs" which are extensions of the splitters. not sure how i feel about how it looks.
