2.5 by 0.54 inches, metallic silver, from http://www.xenonmods.com/ I hope they'll last, and certainly don't intend tracking my M,... spent far too much money on the M3 to take a risk like that If they turn bad, and start to crack / peel, then they come with instructions for removal. |

The paint should NOT crack at all, as I went to the Ring with my E60 M5 lap after lap continously for 3 laps (talking about the most heaviest braking for 3 x 172 corners, 3 x 84 right-handers and 3 x 88 left, and it was still ok). You should take it back to the dealer

I was on a low-speed short track so there is not much high speed driving for things to cool down. I doubt that they will give me new calipers because the paint cracked. They might offer to repaint it maybe, but it's not a big deal.

I doubt these would work on a car that gets any track use. They'll probably be ok for street use though.

True. Maybe I should get a pair to cover the cracked paint on my calipers.

Decals
I had some decals on my E46 headrests. Sounds tacky, but I thought they looked pretty good, and they lasted fine for years. Doesn't look like they have quite the right size for our headrests, though (2.25 x 0.75).
