bearing replacement - good shops in northern New England
Hey everyone. I've got a 2008 E93 with 60k miles. I've ordered the BE bearings and bolts and I'm going to replace them sometime in the next 10k miles, ideally at the next oil change.
I live in southern VT. I like my mechanic quite a bit but they've never performed the bearing service. Can anyone recommend a shop in VT/Upstate NY/NH/Mass? People like the only BMW dealer in VT but I always prefer an independent shop. Thanks! |

Any shop that has competent mechanics can do them. I did mine myself in NH and helped a friend do his. That was back in 2014-2015.

It’s 8 hours max for someone who has done the job before. A mechanic who has done a bunch might knock 2 hours off that. So the rate should work out to $125+ per hour, which is probably normal in VT or NH for a good import shop.
