V1 hardwire E93 M3

Which wire in the overhead piece (where the sos button is, the reading lights etc.) should I tap for power to the V1. Ive seen the installed on e90's e92's just non on E93. I would test the wires myself but my multimeter just bit the dust. any help would be appreciated.

did you get the V1? I hope you like it. It should be the green/white wire that is on the driver side once you open the compartment up. Tap into that as it is the one providing constant power. The one on the passenger side will only turn on when you open/close the sunroof

yea I got it. thanks much! as far as the wire when you say constant power does that mean when I shut the car off the V1 will stay on. I would prefer it turn on and off with my ignition like when its in the cigarette lighter.
