Well you are certainly welcome but yeah it would be a pretty decent trip. But if you have never been up there it might be worth it to come up the day before and get a room.

Good luck with the meet.
A few of the Raleigh guys are going to be staying the night. Plenty of nice hotels in the area!

Come out!

Who am I missing?

Poofyo101 - Is there anyway you can work your schedule to make it on 9/18?

depending on what time the run will be over and what time I can make it back to Columbia. I need to be back into Columbia that day before 8pm ish. Were you planning on staying up there?

No I am just going to make it a long day. I would like for everyone to be up there by say 10AM. Drive the route and hang out to maybe 3 or 4PM and then head back. So you would be back before 8PM.

People may want to drive longer and spend the night, etc. but I am planning on leaving Columbia around 6:30 or 7AM and then being back before too late that evening.

Yes you will learn a tremendous amount if you have never done any "High Performance Drivers Education" events.

If it were me - I would complete the one day M school and do the Advanced M school at VIR. This way you can incorporate what you learned on the track, come back with your car and really improve your skills.

The one day M school is a blast. When you leave you will:

1.) Turn DSC off and "try" to hold the drift
2.) Wish you had bought a DCT e90
3.) Know what the M3 can really do
4.) Start signing up for track days!

Ask anyone that has been - it is a great experience!

I'm moving down to Charleston and would loveto do a meet up! I need to check my schedule, but I may be able to make this. Even though it's no M3, I still love the twisties on the KW's.
