Silver, no black, silver, black, no silver. What I do is get both and rotate when I'm in this predicament. After awhile, see if one or the other floats your boat and sell off the one that doesn't. Who cares what everyone else tells you to get, we all have fave's...it really just depends on what works for you.

Ive got the Best Option for you HANDS DOWN, Ive seen this on a AW M3, looks the Best EVER on AW, Blackchrome, This stuff doesn't bubble/flake like regular Chrome 5 year warranty cost about $850 to have your rims done in it, Im getting it done in Blackchrome on my ZCP wheels for my SS II next week. And it doesn't weight like chrome.

mine are at the shop getting satin black finish. Hope it will turn out nice, the silver zcp looks plain and boring to me.

I've had both. I like the black better because it makes the car look more aggressive. My wife liked the silver better because she says they looked more classy. I wanted the aggressive look, especially with my E90 being a bit of a sleeper. I agree with the sentiment of black losing the detail of the wheels, but I feel like this is in pictures only. I think the black wheels look better in person.

i had my ZCP rims painted black. the car got more aggressive looking also looked great with the red. but honestly if i had to do it again i wouldn't. if you ask me the car lost some class and clean look. the ZCP also lost some of its beauty. i new going into the job that this might happen. friends also peer pressured

Black ZCPs on colors like Fire Orange, Darkar, Santorini, and even melbourne are a no brainer. Something about the white/black combo that's been overdone, and maybe too "easy" to pull off. (If that even makes sense) It seems like the typical direction someone with a white car might attempt. Don't get me wrong, if done right it looks good but I'd see it much harder to execute a cleanly styled aggressive white car with silver wheels. Maybe a challenge I'm up for.

Silver. Black on AW is pretty awful looking in my humble opinion. I think it rarely works. Like someone said above me, it is not so offensive on colors like FO and MR. But on typical colors, it looks so bad and severly does the beautiful ZCPs injustice.

I say if you're buying them new get them in black. But if you're refinishing them I say go with Graphite/dark grey.

i love black, but not for zcp wheels
there are too many spokes for black to show the details well
black works better on wheels like te37sl or bbs fi
i'd say gunmetal is the best compromise
