Thanks for the info on the CG lock Franklin, I had heard about this but couldn't remember the name of it.

I am still bugging Richard lo on a suspension setup. Think Lawson is thinking of a setup too.
I am going to keep the suspension stock for the time being. Most of the setups I am interested in are $3k+ and there are other areas that need to be addressed first IMO. Also, I don't think I am good enough driver to fully take advantage of fully adjustable shocks. Camber plates are a different story though.

Buying a set of 18s in the arc-8 GB, but can't decide on staggered or square. Leaning towards staggered with 265/285 hankook rs3. Also need some new pads, stainless brake lines and new fluid. This stuff will probably keep me satisfied for a while.

I'm thinking of getting rid of the staggered set of arc-8s that came off a 1 series.

135 or 1 series M? The 1 series M can use the same wheel/tire specs as the M3 folks while the 135 doesn't have nearly as much room in the fenders. If it is for the 1M I would be interested.

Thanks for the pic, surlynkid. I'm the MR E92, do you have any more of me? Unfortunately, I was right behind your wife for the entire second beginner run so I kinda doubt it. Regardless, thanks a bunch for the pics!

Todd (are you on here?) put together this video of my first ever track lap using the power of our two GoPros, The driving isn't very good but it was a lot of fun.

Thanks Franklin for your awesome help, riding with you in your Mini S was a blast! Thanks Phil and Richard and everyone else for putting on a great track day!

I only have two of you and they are almost identical. i posted the better one. i run 10 fps with that body, so if i hold the shutter down, they are almost idential. if we meet up, you can have the raw image if you have photoshop or lightroom to view it. i can give it to you large enough to professionally print a 5x7 at 300dpi. i just need to color calibrate my monitor and then tweak the images before i send anyone to a professional printer. if i could get better access to the track, i could get much better shots.

Yeah, I'd be up for getting the raw pictures from you so I can at least look into getting them printed out. PM sent.

The runs was really good for your first time. How did you add the timer on the Go Pro?

Thanks for the compliments! Like I said, Todd did all the hard work on this video. I'm not sure if he's on the forum but he's the same guy that did the video on the club's website. He loaned me his GoPro (the dashcam) for the run so we'd have two videos to play with. I think he added a timer using the video editing program that he used to make the video, there wasn't a timer from the GoPro. It worked out really well. Hopefully, he'll stop by to add some comments.

Thanks to all the organizers!

Thanks, Richard and James, for showing Kelsee around the track. She had a blast, and will definitely be back for more ///M Club HPDE's. Combined we used almost two tanks of gasoline, ha!

P.S. I can't remember the tags to make the YouTube video show up as a video...what's the trick again? D'oh!

Awesome! However, I think those tires make my ass look fat! Once again, many thanks to Phil, Richard, James and those instructors who put on a first class event.

My video as a first time intermediate groupie.

Thanks to others for posting so I can plainly see how I give up huge chunks of time on the track.

I am here :-) ... I am glad you liked the video. I used Premiere CS6 for the editing. I am working on the general track video as I am writing this :-) Late night :-)
I will keep you all posted when it is done.

Hello. Great pictures posted.

Would like to add a pictures request for the blue M3 convertible (it was in both the Beginner and Intermediate groups).

(I know it had a bunch of track-time since it used 24 gallons of gasoline!)
