Bye bye M3, hello 911

Well my M3 has gone, to be replaced with something a bit noisier - this!

The last 4 years with my M3 have been great, the car didn't put a single foot wrong - no reliability issues at all and apart from tyres and servicing it didn't cost me a penny extra. Fantastic car, the only thing I don't miss is the standard stereo

I traded mine in with the Porsche dealer for £24300, and it's on sale at Stratstone, but I see they have put it's got front and rear park distance control when it has only got rear. Anyway if anyone by chance was going to look at my old car drop me a line and I'll happily let you know any extra details you want - but this is a good'un! I have absolutely no connection with Stratstone by the way, was just interested in how much it would be marked up by!

I put matt black front, bonnet and side grills on FYI.

Here it is...

Thanks everyone, was sad to see the M3 go - such an amazingly capable car but it was time for a change

Definitely a lot noisier - it's got the switchable sports exhaust fitted.

MPG wise - very similar so far, which has just been urban commuting approx 16mpg (heavy foot at the moment to hear the engine); which is virtually identical to the M3.

It's got a taller 7th gear so I expect it's better on long runs
