New M3 Owner Here
Hello Fello M3 Owners,
I am new to the forum and just thought I would introduce myself to the Mid Atlantic group. As I was headed to the dealership on July 6 to place an order for a new E90 M3, wife calls me on the phone and says, "I may have just saved you $12k. I was like, what do mean. She said, head to this other dealership and check out a 2009 AW E90 DCT M3 w/ EDC. Very low miles." Needless to say, it had what I was looking for. The rest is history. First time owning a BMW. Love it! Anyways, I live just northwest of Baltimore in Carroll County, MD. I plan on attending the Bimmerfest on August 6. Maybe I can meet up with some of you to caravan over, or before hand to meet. I am big into the AM world, and can't wait to get started modding my M3. Especially to keep up with the Jones' on here. So, I started with some basics: tint, changed my interior LEDs to white, Rho license plate holder, and IND Cosmetic Package (Painted front/side grills and color matched reflector - not installed yet). Here is a pic: |

Congrats I have the exact same color with foxred interior. Exact same wheels. I got rid of my 335i to get into the M3. I've had mine for a month. DCT or 6 speed?

Thanks guys! I have since removed the nasty chrome pieces in exchnage for INDs Cosmetic kit (black kidney grilles and side markers, and AW reflectors. Also changed the interiorlights to white LEDs and painfully installed the Rho license plate bracket..ugh!

speaking of painful installs, how did you get those chrome side markers/gills off?...i've been trying to avoid the jack up/remove front wheel method but haven't been having any luck...
