Top Speed X pipe
Hey Guys, Since I couldn't find any reviews on this X pipe, I decided to start my own thread. I was looking for a budget full catless X pipe, and I'm not sure if this company is just new or what (lack of reviews) but the are by far hands down the cheapest. They are called top speed. Their no resonators, no cats X pipe normally runs$699 on their website + shipping but their ebay store was selling it discounted for $650+ shipping. At that price, I went ahead and purchased one. (They also have full catless, 2 resonators for 799 normally and full catless, 4 resonators for $899 normally, I'm not sure if they have other combination of 2ndary cats/ resonators) Anyways, I run an ESS tune and am excited to see it installed! I will let you guys know how it goes! I will post pictures when I get it as well. I hope the fitment is good, I know with some cheapo products that is an issue

As long as the fitment is good and the welds hold it should be just as good as any other bent tubing (midpipe). I know some e46m guys that run their products and they seem happy.
I'll keep an eye on this thread for an update, thanks for being the guinea pig. |

I did a write up a few years back on Top Speed's Headers for my E46 M3 after I bought them off of Ebay for $360... Fitment was perfect and the welds looked great for Chinese work, and I drove the car for another 1.5 years before trading it for my E92 M3 with no issues with cracking welds or fumy leaks...
Here is my write up on the Headers with pics: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showt...ed+pro+headers If they can do headers right, I would think their X-pipes are good also... Hope this helps! |

I bought one when they first came out in 2012. They were $475 shipped back then. It was too loud for me without resonators so I added 4. Probably 2 would have been OK. Still on the car 3 years later.

sorry about taking forever, but here it is!!!
It is super raspy, sounds kind of like a fart can civic in the mid range sifting gears, But absolutely 0 drone with stock mufflers at cruising speeds, and very nice and loud under full throttle!! |

I have their quad resonator setup. Fitment is perfect and no rasp. I might be putting it up for sale and switch to a HFC setup, if anyone is interested. I love the sound but not a huge fan of the smell.

Their products are great and actually manufactured in Taiwan. The office/ warehouse is close by my house and I've known them for years. We've installed the catless xpipe on my friend's e92 M3 here and it fits perfect. If you're local in Addison they have a lift so they can install it for you too.

Yeah I have my own lift so install wasn't a problem, except for the fact that those damn clamps are hard as hell to put on. And I will just say screw it, probably going full header-back straight pipe with a full on muffler delete soon.

They should not have put the front resonators that far forward. Everyone else puts them on either side of the x and no scraping. But maybe the idea was that they look like cats for a visual inspection.

I know it's a revived thread, but the build quality is ok regarding this x pipe? I know there was some controversy regarding figment, weld quality and what not in the past closer to when these first came out. When I searched I found some of those threads but never found a difinitive answer, particularly about their long turn durability. Has anyone been running this x pipe for an extended amount of time? Say for a year or longer
