I am seeing that there are a lot of the E90s that are priced pretty aggressively. I am seeing 2008 model E92s starting to be low 30s, but people are still asking mid to high 40s for the E90 ZCP. Then, I see a base model F80s asking about $10k higher within one year of production. After people stop drinking the kool-aid and used F80 prices become realistic, the E90 prices should drop.

(unless there are that many people who are destined to own a V8 versus the V6TT)

I agree, maybe in another year or two but right now used F80 prices are too close to full MSRP so the gap between F80 and E90/92 is large.

Thanks. I figured. I'm not really willing to deal with a massive part-out and return to stock mostly because I plan to track the car for at least the rest of the summer here in NY unless it sells as is. If it goes back to stock at some point I will let you know. I've spent over 12k on parts so my asking price stock would be extremely reasonable. Obviously i'm not going to remove the new rod bearings so that's a bonus for someone.
