How much was the trackacardia event? The website only says "sold out". I was there last weekend with the BMWCCA, it's an awesome track with a good mix of high speed and technical sections. It's actually more technical than I expected. Have fun guys.

Be careful there in the rain. The track doesn't seem a gritty (grippy) as some of the other new tracks, such as NJMP. I'm sure that makes it easier on tires but the overall grip is lower and I'd think that would carry over to a wet track as well. The good thing is, since the track is new there won't be a smooth/buffed dry line that you'll have to avoid. I'd think the dry line and wet line will be similar depending on where ponding occurs.

You guys are going to have a blast! This is a fantastic track! Have fun and be safe!
A little more advice - there isn't any cover to speak of - it's kind of wide open and the wind can kick up. If it's a cool day, it will feel downright cold at the track, especially if it isn't sunny. Layered clothing and a windbreaker are essential.

As of last Monday, there was only a big platform tent, like hospitality tents at golf tournaments. There were tables and chairs inside, and a seperate classroom. It's shelter, but there's no view of the track.
The restrooms were on a trailer. Fanciest portajon I ever saw. It was so nice several of us wanted to hook the thing up and tow it home. Food was served from under a pop-up shelter - burgers and dogs, etc. It was only open during mid-day. People ate at picnic tables outside or in the tent. As for viewing from trackside, there are several good spots. I have to say, I've never seen better landscaping at any racetrack. Manicured lawns and shrubbery along the outside of the concrete barrier make this place look more like a park than a racetrack in some spots.

their website is off-line, any chance a call/e-mail to the event organizers would have their contact info?

Ya I'm planning on having a link on his site once ours is up, may actually have him send out a email blast letting people know of our mishap and it will be all together this week. But I had to hire a new designer so it will be up as fast as he can work. Again thanks for understanding
