Minesweeper world records



this crap is amazing.... no matter how many times i watch it, i just don't get how you can even click that fast, let alone think that fast.

here are my best times

beginner: 4 sec
intermediate: 38 sec
expert: 205 sec.

not very convincing, you could easily set it so mines are at prepositioned spots

Holding the world record in minesweeper, or spending the effort to FAKE having the world record in minesweeper.

It's like being able to do a Rubick's cube in under a minute. Great party trick, but no real world value.

that guy on the YouTube is apparently 'well known' in the minesweeper world. whatever that means, lol.

there are actual competitions for it

some of the fakes are on YouTube as well, you can clearly see which ones are fake because the real players don't flag every mine. only the cheaters flag every mine.

apparently the "professional" minesweepers only flag like 10-15 out of 100 mines. because the point of hte game isn't to identify the mines, but to clear all the boxes that don't have a mine in it.

i tried to adapt that technique but alas, i don't even come close

i used to play minesweeper a lot in my computer class in 9th grade.
beginner- 3 seconds
int- 42 seconds
expert- 191 seconds
