I'm selling my original equipment BMW mirror glass from my E92 M3. The pieces are in excellent condition, and are the heated as well as auto-dimming variant. Everything looks brand new.

I was quite surprised honestly. I've done these sort of things on other cars in the past and always been terrified of damage to the glass. Here is the breakdown of what I did:
Driver side:
Select left indent on mirror control
Aim mirror maximum right, maximum up
With plastic trim tool or equivalent, insert below acme of mirror corner and gently press toward the front of the car to apply pressure on the backside of the glass directed toward the rear of the car, be sure to have your right hand ready to avoid the glass popping off.
With glass in one hand, gently release rear electrical connection into glass and remove
Passenger side:
Select right indent on mirror control
Aim mirror maximum left, maximum up
With plastic trim tool or equivalent, insert below acme of mirror corner and gently press toward the front of the car to apply pressure on the backside of the glass directed toward the rear of the car, be sure to have your left hand ready to avoid the glass popping off.
With glass in one hand, gently release rear electrical connection into glass and remove
Installation is the reverse of both, minus the need for any plastic tools, the mirror glass just pops back into place.
