NYC inspection test pipes

Can anyone recommend an inspection station near Staten island? I have test pipes on the car and I can't get down to my buddy shop to swap it out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You will not pass with test pipes and the tune which I am assuming you have to disable the O2 related cell. Just DIY and swap the test pipes, and swap them back once youve passed.

I already passed with this same tune on, the only difference is now I have test pipes. Would that make the difference?

Don't the test pipes remove the primary cats?

When you go to an inspection station have them scan your car and see if your monitors are passing or failing before you start the test. Your allowed 1 failing/not ready

I passed a couple times when I had test pipes - as long as you don't have a CEL and you have the OEM secondaries/resonators for the visual, you should be good. FWIW, I had the ESS tune that came with the 550 kit.

Well even with my stock X pipe I continue to fail. I have put over 100 miles since the swap and still no luck. It has been inspected twice since I bought it but I'm wondering if they never really inspected the emissions. Now and I'm worried its my ESS tune.

I'm on Staten Island as well. Do you have cats on? You can dm me. If we find someone maybe we can get a 2for 1 lol
