I did this autocross session last weekend in San Diego - was the first time I've done it. If you're not sure what to expect: You arrive, get split up into groups of 10-12 people, they have 4 cars for each group.. you get 5 laps or so in one car, then get out and wait your turn to do another ~5 laps in the other car. Was pretty fun, especially for the price (free). The instructors critique you via a radio they put in your car. They provide hand sanitizer, masks, and rubber gloves (although I didn't see anybody using the gloves), and they sanitize the car between each driver.

They allow two cars on the track at a time - the only downside is that if you get stuck with a slow driver in front of you, they didn't let you "make up" for that with some extra laps. My wife got stuck behind somebody who was a bit slow and cost her some fun on her last couple of laps.

They do a short sales pitch on the M performance school as well, which is to be expected given that this is a free event.

Overall, I'd do it again.

Nice! Do you have to bring a helmet or anything?

quite fun, not much different than previous UDE events. Track in Anaheim seemed bigger than the one in Arcadia, and also MUCH MORE PEOPLE.

M340I had some nice power but the steering felt very numb and throttle response wasn't that great. maybe it was just the car I was in but it felt pretty meh. Not really an autocross car. Even then 2 series felt more nimble
