It's all fine with the CAT's. Our 200 CELL high flow CATs have survived the high level supercharger kits and over run features such as this.
Depends on how you do this.
You are maybe making an assumption on the strategy and there is one which will start coking up the CAT's. I can assure it's not that strategy.

Can also make the engine rev down much slower too and increase engine braking as well as the above.

What's going to be real fun is when I remove the supercharger (only for a while) fit the Schrick cams and no CAT's. Then with some valve timing changes we can have some real fire

You say what now?! Finally someone else doing Schrick cams on the S65B40!!

I hope this weather clears up soon so once I get the tune update, I can rip it up and down make cool noises.

Was speaking to Schrick at the Autosport show and looking to try their cams and then if they are too much bias to the upper rpm band we might develop our own profile. Doing that on the S85 at the moment.

Omgzbbq, can you do this on the S85? I can only imagine on the lift off. God knows I don't need anymore flames coming out my car lol. Next thing you know the rear bumper is going to melt.

I thought my E90 M3 already burbles, CANNOT wait to try this soon!

Thanks for always raising the bar Sal@Evolve!

If the rest of my injectors hold up, I know who's getting my next batch of savings.

Evolve solution: R&D
BMW solution: amplifiers and speakers

We'll have to wait and see how it turns out before it can be labeled as tacky.

Our Z4 35i subtly burbles and pops on throttle lift when in sport mode. It sounds amazing. If it's anything like that, it won't be tacky at all.

yes, he's tuning it to provide a constant overrun, not "momentarily" or driver induced situations. He's attempting to get the snap crackle pop noise similar to a Jaguar F-type.

For the record, my stage II evolve does a snap crackle pop when I aggressively let off the throttle when the DCT is trying to shift too, even without this new overrun feature that Sal is releasing.
