OEM Midpipe/Axleback Exhaust clamp for aftermarket X-Pipes?
Does the OEM clamp from the Muffler section to Midpipe/connecting pipe fit aftermarket x-pipes? (Pictured)
I test fitted the oem clamp on my TopSpeed X-pipe and it seemed pretty loose, so i ended up using the supplied clamps but they leak no matter how i position the pipes.. I'm not sure if the normal 2.5 inch exhaust clamps work since the OEM clamp and ends of the two pipes have a curved shape. I'm thinking of using some Permatex muffler/tailpipe sealer. |

cause of the expansion of heat and cold. clamps get old and no longer have the strength they were first molded to be shaped.
