Honestly, I will put up minor issues with these due to how much easier they are to use. I would need a bigger garage to go to the next level with a post lift, but I do not want to go back to a jack and stands again.

I ended up buying this a few months ago and I think it's great. Well worth the money for anyone who doesn't want to do the jack stand dance anymore to raise their car!

Just bought this version. Do the pinch weld blocks provide any sort of use/benefit on our cars? Or just on other cars that don't have the jack pads like BMW

If they are as pictured, you can use the pinch weld blocks on the E9x. The key is that car with pinch welds have to be handled carefully, or you'll crush the pinch when you lift them.

These are replacement couplers for either end of the hose, and actually mate up to the QJ pieces no problem. Bought 2 sets to replace all couplers. Can also be ordered direct from Summit Hydraulics. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/272562485720...=loc,osub=osub With the above couplers, there isn't a male end to thread into the QJ pump, and unlike the QJ couplers cannot be taken apart so adapters are necessary. I got the below, 6401-06-04-O. https://brennaninc.com/fittings/tube...apters/6401-o/ In my research, the below will also work but shipping to Canada + the minimum order quantity meant it was a stupid cost so I went with Brennan. https://www.hydraulicstore.com/conne...4-adapter.html

5000TL is now in stock at $1525 shipped. I've been waiting for pricing to be announced before making my final decision and went with the 5000SLX after all. Home Depot is selling the wall hanger + pinch weld block bundle for $1127 after a 10% off coupon and I figured the extra 2.5" of lift height isn't worth $400+ to me. After having this thing on my radar for several years now I'm very excited to finally (partially) retire my jack and jack stands!

I have been telling myself for at least 5 years that "it was time" to get one of these and just never did. Having gotten one now earlier this year I am kicking myself in the ass for having fought with a jack and stands for all these damn years....

if my driveway / garage wasn't at an inclined i'd easily have a quick jack by now. especially on square wheel/tire set ups i move them around every oil change.

They only made it available to people who joined the email waitlist. Try this link:

Have had this for a few weeks now and love it. Just need a creeper now so I don't have slide around on the garage floor all the time 😆

I'll eventually get a set, but I find that I don't work on my own car as much as I used to. Still a good thing to have in the garage though so I'll join the club eventually

I'm kind of in the same boat... I have the M3 and my F150 extended cab (not Crew) and I'm debating on the 7000SLX model. From what I've read, I can probably go with the 5000 model as well. I seeing that will lift to 6000 pounds... I also have to see if the lowered 3.5 height will fit under the M3 as well... Still on the fence.. Anybody have a truck that they use this on as well as their car...?

I use mine on the Dodge Diesel 2500, its the 7K ext version. Not quite enough height to get the wheels off the ground, the truck has 37s.
Getting the right weight balance is a bit of an issue. The engine is where all the weight is in the truck. I still use jack stands to make it stable and to feel safer.
