Because that was the first thing I noticed when I had the Akra installed. The smaller diameter piping from the Akra seemed to be better optimized for this engine.

Looking to run my akra evo mid section with an OEM muffler (4 pipe mod). Are these custom adapters still being produced/sold? If yes, I want in.

Yes they are!

Still have some left from the first group buy with the machine shop. They have provided me with a few more sets for those members wanting to jump in that missed the first batch.

oh yeah big time, it feels so much better now. i also installed the new stage 2 map from alpine at the same time which added to the low RPM torque as well, car feels incredible now
