Volk G2 19'' Wheel Fitment on E90 M3
Hi everyone, apologies for the likely noob-ish question
I did a quick surficial search but couldn't turn up anything conclusive. Anyway I'm currently thinking of getting a set of Volk G2 wheels Fronts: 19x9.5 et+22 Rears: 19x10.5 et+25 I was wondering if these will work with an e90 m3 sedan, and what sort of tire sizes could I fit without rubbing/fitment issues. Any recommendations are more than welcome. Thanks in advance |

Yes they will fit perfectly. In fact those sizes / offsets were designed for the M3. If you want maximum rubber see the sizes in my signature. Safer sizing is 255/35/19 front, 275/35/19 rear.

Edit: Never mind, just found your post about dremeling that piece. Can you confirm it's the same one? Last edited by MaxL; 03-17-2012 at 05:17 PM.. |

I have the same set of wheels but I run 275 front 305 rear with no fitment issues. Tires are RE-11s

It seems I'm a bit out of luck here... I dremeled the liner, but wheels are still rubbing on the metal crease where I removed a bit of plastic - it's the edge of the sheet metal creased inside and sticking into the wheel well. It does not have practical purpose, and removing 3mm (or 1/10 of inch) would do the trick, but I am hesitant to do anything to metal not to compromise rust proofing.
It's probably a camber issue, but I want the wheels at certain camber for handling. Will probably end up rolling fenders or raising rear a bit (but that may not help) |

Think the ad08s run a little wider than the re-11s. I have 265-30-19 on same spec wheels and fit is perfect. Any more and I would rub.
