Limp mode !

I have a 2011 e92 m3 and it's stock no tunes no nothing. Every time I accelerate hard my car goes into limp mode. But if I turn my car on and off and drive normal my car is fine. What's the problem ?

Most likely not , I'm the third owner and the car is at 58 k miles

TA's most likely and your pads are due by the looks of the yellow brake light.

Can't be my brake pads , it only comes on when I floor it, and I checked my pads it's good

I know, I was just commenting on them Incase you didn't know. I suggested Throttle Actuators (TA's).

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a low miles 2008 m3 and goes into limp mode every other time I drive it. The only code I'm getting is 27a0 for the E box fan. I just hooked the fan up to an external power source and it works. Any ideas?

we can guess here until it snows in miami. get a scanner and check faults or go to the dealer and get it checked out. its really pointless to guess w/out any more information
