A bit of a journey

Making a very long story short, I applied for and was accepted to Bring a Trailer to list my E92 for sale. I opted for the professional photographer option and BAT standards are so high we needed three photo shoots in order to get the pictures right.

So, from 1 June to last week I was all set to sell and then on the day it was to go live I just couldn't pull the trigger.

So I am keeping it.

It's going into a storage unit for roughly three months and I am concerned about:

1. Getting flat spots on the tires. PS4's. Is this a valid concern and if so it will be tough to get it on jack stands. Is it better to underinflate the tires?

2. Do I disconnect the battery? Not an option to keep it on a trickle charger and if I need to disconnect it is it just a matter of disconnecting the negative cable? I really don't want to fry anything.

I always planned on keeping this bad boy and soon it will be gracing the streets of North Florida.

Lol, selling your baby is very difficult!!

1) My PS4S tires sat all winter (5 months) and they were not flat spotted. Keep them inflated - or even a bit over inflated. I also bought some cheap pads and set the tires on those. I have read that rigid foam works too. Allowing your suspension to hang for months is not the best option so I would avoid jacking it up.

2) Not 100% sure as to what is the best option here as I could use a battery tender. Any chance you could use a solar panel type charger? But you are correct - just disconnect the negative cable from the battery if you want to go that route.

Happy storage!
