Hello, I will try to explain myself with my translator's English

We bought 2 M3 e92 6mt tha same equipment extra sunroof navi proffesional and other .. the 2 with rim 19 "year 2007

The 2 went to the dyno .. 98 octane mine gave 370hp had rear toyosport and kn intake and the other 409hp all stock (power at engine).

The 409hp was later installed a used KN filter and rear muffler modification

Mine was built stage 2+ evolve with all MACHT SCHNELL full intake downpipes pulleys 100 octane file tune with 240e previous

We have not returned to the dyno .. but testing 40-160 60-230 and any type of test .. the cars run the same !!!

We calculate that the 2 have the same power about 420hp to the engine ..

My car has all new spark plugs, all coils, bearings .. low fuel pressure sensor new .. lambdas sensors ..

The engine sounds perfect .. even better than my friend's .. but it lacks power .. two has 60k milles or 100k kilometers

In short ... my car with all stage 2+ 100octane vs 98 works as one of the stock with less maintenance and without updating to the latest version of ecu ..

Any ideas??

i would redo your tune, or take it somewhere that specializes in m3's. one of your pictures shows a guy in a Honda jumpsuit......

Evolve did his tune it looks like. I have a good friend who is a Honda master tech do mechanical work on my M3 all the time; extremely capable guy.

To the OP:

The s65 seems to have above average variation in horsepower from the factory. It's a high-strung motor so even small differences in build tolerances seem to make a big difference in with the end result(as seen with our rod bearing woes).

The mechanic is not the problem, the car when I bought it only had toyosport and it was already short of power .. when I have installed stage 2 the car has been transformed has gained at least 40hp .. so stage 2 is good. The problem is the car from stock is lacking in power ..

What could I look to try to see something? I tb think it is a construction failure .. and it is a bad unit .. it has no problem .. only 40hp less than others alike .. but being a fault of factory .. tolerances or other things

Try to log with Carly.. lambda, advance ignition and trottle %... any more ideas?

Again, what you're describing is not uncommon. Unless you are an extreme outlier this is normal. Take a look at this website and sort STOCK by lowest horsepower and you'll probably find you arent even the bottom end of s65 dynos.

There is a wild variation in stock hp on different cars. Ive heard 40-50hp is not out of the realm of possible. I think I have one of those under powered stock cars as well.

The remap could be garbage. Get a true tune done on a dyno
