Oil question

need to add 1 quart of oil to my e90 m3 and was wondering if using half a quart of Castrol tws 10-60 and half a quart of castrol tws 10-60 "supercar" would be okay?

Yes, you can do that safely and will not experience any problems at all. In fact, if you are ever in a pinch to add oil and can't find any 10W-60 at a local store, you can mix in a liter of the closest weight oil you can find, such as 10w-50 or 10w-40.
