2011.75 E90 ZCP M3 (DCT) - Interlagos Blue with Individual Fox Red Interior

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Or Best Offer

Item Interest
Hi Guys,

I'm selling my 2011.75 E90 ZCP M3 with approx 70k miles. I decided to post all the details about the car along with photos and videos here instead of having it redirect to an online auction site from a month ago.

This E90 M3 is one of the very last E90 production runs in April 2011, which I searched far and wide for when I bought the car from the previous enthusiast owner. The car is a DCT competition pack. Interlagos Blue exterior with a Fox Red and Black Individual interior. The individual part is the Fox Red leather on the two-tone steering wheel, seats all the way up to the headrests and DCT shift boot. It also has matching Fox Red contrast stitching on the seats.

There are some nice touches like an integrated back up camera - a nice feature I've really enjoyed since the car has been my daily. Other than the items below, the car is stock including the wheels. The OE kidney grilles and side markers will be included with the sale.
• Aftermarket angel eye bulbs (Lux H8 180)
• Black kidney grilles
• Body-colored side-marker lights with tinted lenses
• Rear-view camera

Like some of the posts have mentioned, there's a rich history of the car on this forum over the years. I am the 3rd owner. The previous 2 owners were both BMW enthusiasts. First owner had it in Florida and second owner had it in Indiana. I bought the car in Jan 2017. It’s been garaged kept; no smoking, food or pets.

Everything is in 100% working condition on the car. In March, I had the BMW dealership do an exhaustive multi-point inspection and fix any mechanical issues they found. Also, all major failure points that E90s are prone to like throttle actuators, valve covers, etc have been repaired/replaced in the last 2 years. The maintenance history is available going all the way back to the original owner.

In Jan 2019, a car behind me rolled into my M3 at under 5 mph. My car and the other car were both stopped at a traffic light waiting for oncoming traffic to pass. The driver behind me accidentally took his foot off the brakes when he was talking to someone in the rear seat and rolled into me. The damage from the accident was just a very small dent to the rear bumper. I have the photos and repair records. I had the whole bumper replaced and repainted. I can also send interested buyers the Carfax report if you PM me.

I've included the main photos here, but I have a lot more if you PM me. Also, here are a collection of videos
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL...aB_G4cw1QKQI8e

The sale price is $35,000, or best offer. I'm sad to sell it but my kids are getting older so I bought a truck to keep up with their activities. So need to make space in my garage.

If you have any questions, please send me a PM.

A well documented & well known car on this forum. Lots of posts/pics of this car beginning with Euro delivery. GLWS, this is a 1 of 1 car with that interior.

jiggz - Thanks. Indeed, this car has been with the enthusiast family since day 1. Would be great if the baton could be passed to another fellow enthusiast.

You'll no doubt get asked about this over on C&B, where some of the commentators tend to be more dick-like than BaT, but if you happen to have photos of what the 'minor damage to the rear' was, it would probably head off a lot of whining

IrishNoodles - thanks for the heads up. Yes I submitted the photos of the fender bender to Cars & Bids. I guess they decided not to show it or that it wasn't worth posting. I'm a bit new to online car auction sites but they did a good job writing the listing. I just had to approve it. The damage from the accident was just a very small dent to the rear bumper. My car and the car behind me were both stopped at a traffic light waiting for oncoming traffic to pass through. The driver behind me accidentally lifted his foot off the brakes when he was talking to someone in the rear seat and rolled into me at under 5 mph. But boy was I upset at having a blemish on an otherwise clean carfax... I had the whole bumper replaced and repainted.

Friendly reminder that the online auction at Cars & Bids is ending tomorrow afternoon (3:45pm CT). The car has seen some healthy bidding so far. If you have any questions, just let me now.

Good afternoon, I'm the one that won the Cars & Bids auction. If you want to reach out to me so we can cut out the middleman and get something worked out, shoot me a message! I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

If you are going to relist I would just go straight to BaT - don't bother with C&B

Was there a reserve price? Surprised it was that low at the close but I guess the individual fox red Superman is a bit much for some.

The fox red/black combo was never that desired. If it was a true fox red interior that would make a difference. That and the higher mileage isn't going to bring top dollar.

I guess it comes down to individual tastes, but I have never really liked that combo. All one or the other would be far better for me personally. I am surprised how low it finished at however, simply from being an unusual combo overall.

If it is 'bid to' a number on C&B and not 'sold' then there was a reserve

Yes it never reached the reserve price on C&B. I liked the overall C&B experience, but I was surprised by the final number too. I've edited the original post and will see if there is interest in a private party sale on this site. I probably should have done that in the first place.

If it doesn't sell, then I'll be happy to hold on to the car and enjoy it for a few more years at least. The engine and ride are still amazing.

Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the car.

Very nice car, I was bidding on this on C&B as LRA; feel free to look up our dealer; I would be interested in discussing a potential purchase as this would be for myself as I’m looking to replace one of my current cars. Long time lurker on the forum, and lifetime BMW enthusiast.
