Update: cleared code, started it and ran it for a little and re ran the codes, both aren’t back. Perhaps I’ll wait and try again few days later but would still appreciate the insight

I've noticed weird things happen to the car when you disconnect the battery.

Car is currently on a trickle charger now! I have not yet driven the car since clearing the code though, so we will see in few days if its back!

My car generared a number of codes when battery died. Cleared with new battery. Might be the same in your case OP.

Update, I believe this was a dead battery related issue. Since charging fully, I have 0 codes being thrown at me. Took it for a drive around the sub and still no code.
