Honestly, I need more drive-time to really understand the dips that you're talking about. One thing is sure, I really and truly missed my Evo IX MR before I got my M3. I missed it most because of that RIP that the Evo gave you right after you hit the 3k rpm mark. It was a HUGE, VIOLENT rush of power once the turbo kicked in. I had basic bolt-on's on that Evo, such as: Full catless exhaust system, ebc, air filter, and a reflash. Now, I can say that my M3 has gained back that 'RIP feeling' that I missed so dearly. Now, it ABSOLUTELY JUST PULLS AND RIPS SO HARD, SO CONSISTENTLY ALL THE WAY TO REDLINE LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW! I don't think I'll miss my Evo any more. All the talk about what you would have on a different dyno is BS. The only thing that is meaningful are the gains you demonstrated on the same dyno over a few days, assuming such variables as temp and density altitude were comparable, and comparing your baseline and 2 levels of modification. That's about the only useful knowledge to be derived from such comparisons, and in that regard your results are impressive. It also assumes that the dyno wasn't operated by the selling installer, but that's a whole other topic of discussion.
At any rate, congrats!

For the OP, thanks for sharing and taking the time to do this.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

LMAO, and I've read that toilet bowls flush in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere. However, that's not relevant either, so why do you keep bring up irrelevant stuff?

Nawaaz did about as good a job as one could in minimizing the variables, and came out with some very impressive gains. Video can't capture Nawaaz's car. The microphone would rupture and the lens would shatter. It is a MAN's car. Actually, Frank captured the beast in his exhaust comparison video in the gallery forum.

Thanks again for all of the appreciation & support guys!
It means very much. It was a tough job for me, but it had to be done. ------------------------------------------------------- I know many are anxiously waiting on vids on how my M3 sounds. I will have vids posted sometime next week, FOR SURE. As TLud mentioned, videos will clearly not do any justice to how my car sounds. It LITERALLY sounds SICK, SICK, and more SICK!!! Meanwhile, here's the video collaboration that member frankzlin79 created (My M3 w/ Gintani is included): [u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8A3QCdbXj8Q&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8A3QCdbXj8Q&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b] |

I'm sending this to everybody I know when comparing the Full Gintani with the Power Chip Tune! Your car couldn't stop chirping in each gear. HOLY MOTHER OF ZOD! That's insane. I only wish there was an RPI Axle Back inserted in the video comparison as well. Or even a Full GT RPI with X-Pipe. That Meisterschaft exhaust sounded horrible like stuff was broken or rattling. It's loud but not in what I would call an impressive kind of way. As others have said, your car is a beast. Does that full exhaust with X-Pipe from Gintani maintain resonators? I assume not due to how loud and menacing it sounds. Well done brother!
