2009 iDrive radio preset default
In my 2009 with the new iDrive when you select "radio" in the main menu or iDrive button it takes you to "FM" first, which is every available FM station, instead of defaulting to the presets menu.
Is there a way to set the radio to default to presets first instead of having to scroll thru the "options" menu to select "presets"? This is not a post about using the preset 6 buttons on the center console, which I know I can program to bring up FM "presets". thanks, new iDrive is the NUTS otherwise. |

It should take you back to the menu that you were in last time you closed out of Radio. So if you were in the presets menu and then backed out to nav, the next time you enter Radio it should pull up the presets. Does that make sense? Try it out...

It does that while the car is on, and it will go to presets if I turn the car off if I left it in "radio: presets" screen, but for some reason 8/10 times if I turn the car off while NOT on the radio screen, same key, and then select "radio" it will go to the all "FM" stations screen, then requiring iDrive knob toggle back, scroll down to "presets" and select. Very strange.
