Def looking fwd to this drive. The forecast for Sat keeps changing (go figure). Im trying to decide if it's worth washing the car.

HIGHWAY IS CLOSED due to mudslides (again).

So this drive is not happening. I'm open to suggestions for alternatives. The weather is iffy too...

Actually snowing at Rainier today, and expected to continue overnight, Not sure how that effects the visitor center/Inspiration Point.

Leavenworth is another thought... Still 50% chance of rain. Prob best to resched.. we're entering that season though...

We could drive up the highway to the Diablo lake overlook. It's about 15-20 minutes past Newhalem. Unless its clear out though I wouldn't want to go.

I also approve Oktoberfest plans.

. I'm unavailable the weekend of the 5th.
