Both. The redye can be done well by a professional but it will never be 100% the quality of OEM. For a potential buyer that can be a major turnoff. It would be for me

If you’re willing to pay $3k to dye the seats why not just pay to ship a car with the interior you want for much less

if its even 90% i would still consider it i guess. i would be interested to see what exactly is "off" with redyed interiors

i thought of that as well, but i dont want to buy a car without visually inspecting it and driving it before buying it

maybe its just whats available today, or just a coincidence, but theres a pretty big difference in price

I’m a big fan of custom interiors.

I think stock red interiors are in high demand, but that’s not the governing factor in buying a car for me.
