If they are pre lci you can buy them lci bits and pieces from interior or tail lights. You can never go wrong with a new oil cap or gas cap too

Me and my sister gifted this amazing car lamp to my father(which he liked it very much). We were afraid that he won't like it, as spending the day barbequing and with dad is easy, but let’s face it, it’s never easy to know what the best gift is for your old man (let alone one for your BMW-obsessed father).

Apparently, it is the 50th anniversary of the M line. I was just given a "50" hat in M colors by a buddy that works for BMW in Germany.

Your idea is pretty creative and thoughtful. How about also including a small toolset or a personalized keychain? Just something to add a personal touch to his garage or car.

I can recommend a gift that is not directly related to the M3, but one that can come in handy when you're running out of ideas — you might consider custom bobbleheads. It is a very versatile gift.
Basically, it's the face of the person you're gifting printed on a figurine, which can also be customized. In other words, you can pose it in any way you like.

You can have it made as a keychain for the car keys, or even as a standalone figurine to keep in the car or on the desk.
I got some of these bobbleheads for a few friends, and it turned out quite successful.
