In as much as I have bought three (2 sets of RE71R, 1 set of Yok A052) sets of tires this year, I have to wonder how you are still driving on your original set.

You'll want to get new tires. There is a rule in the motorcycle community (at least in my motorcycle safety class) that you want to change out your tires every 2 years. Now, of course, they aren't probably made to the strength of a car/truck tire. This isn't without question to car tires shelf-life/Service-life. I wouldn't go more than 5 years personally.
Everything has a period where they just aren't as strong as they once were. The tires most likely can't withstand high heat and pressures that they were designed for new. |

It seems like you don't put many miles on your M.
If that's the case, perhaps consider an aggressive rubber like RE-71R? It'll definitely feel like an upgrade and with the low miles you put on it, you'll likely get your next set of tires before it gets too noisy.
