Offered for sale is a BMW - E9X Headlight Control Element Switch. Genuine, original equipment European Spec BMW part featuring the rear fog light button which illuminates as well as halogen leveling wheel. Awesome OEM+ upgrade for your US Spec E9X rather than hacking your original. Switch is in great lightly used condition (9/10), fully operational (has been tested) and being sold as-is. Switches were acquired from E9X from around Europe and imported to the US. ECS Tuning and Turner Motorsports sell these for $170+. Photos are of the actual item you will receive, can't rotate them on here for some reason. Only have a few left. Can install for a small additional fee. This very nice gentlemen provided me with an amazing rear foglight switch. He even set it up for me in about 15 mins. You can disassemble your stock switch and swap out your blank rear fog light button for a ROW rear fog light button. It works flawlessly.

Our US Spec cars have Adaptive Low Beams, the Euro Spec do not. The leveling wheel literally moves the low beams up and down but, you'd do it manually via the wheel. This wheel doesn't work on our American vehicles but, is part of the complete European switch and does illuminate like all other markings on the Headlight Control Element.

In Europe all vehicles are required to have rear fog lamps installed as a saftey feature. That isnt required in the US, so this feature was "disabled" by BMW but, the bulbs and wiring are all on US Spec vehicles. The rear fog button is on all Headlamp Control Elements with the E9X but, is blank and has small tabs that prevent it from being pressed in. There is a hack mod where you shave down the tabs and then insert a sort of "pusher" and it becomes a sort of stealth/secret button. With this unit you get the complete switch from a Euro Spec'd E8X/E9X that has the rear fog logo, functions as it should (with white oe pusher piece behind button) and illuminates because of the European circuit board. I have sold the rear fog buttons with a pusher piece by themselves but, it will not illuminate like the other buttons without the circuit board. Also you can retain US Spec Adaptive features if you swap your Adaptive Dial to the Euro switch, however the green indication lamp on the dial does not exist on the Euro circuit board/switch.

Hope this helps everyone. I did the hack mod to mine, damaged it. Decided to source a European one and have been able to import a few to help other purist enthusiasts. I have a handful coming in soon (can provide current tracking proof) & can PP invoice anyone for 50% of pricing which includes shipping that would like to reserve a button + pusher combo, complete switch or just pusher piece.

I have no pusher pieces (White piece behind the buttons) avaliable currently, only have replacement Dial Rings, Front Fog Buttons, Standard Knobs and European Spec Circuit Boards.
